Financial Support

Welcome to the Forrester High School Financial Assistance Page.

“Finance should not be a barrier to your children’s learning and education”

At Forrester we are committed to raising equity within our school and are trying to cut the cost of the school day for all our parents. Over the coming months we shall be introducing many new initiatives and programmes including a whole school breakfast club for all our pupils to enjoy a free healthy start to the school day!

We have recently appointed a Pupil Support Officer within the school and she is available to all parents and pupils to offer support, advice and assistance with managing any financial issues that may arise during the school year. Assistance is available with Free School Meal applications, clothing grants, financial assistance and Educational Maintenance Allowance. We are also able to direct our parents to external services within and out with The City of Edinburgh Council.

The cost of the school day has a significant impact on a families finances and one way to reduce this is through free school meals.
