An opportunity has arisen for any students from S5 or S6 to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This can be undertaken as a direct entrant as there is no requirement to have completed the Silver or Bronze Award.
Although this would be a huge undertaking with a great deal of commitment, it would be an extremely valuable qualification. It will involve working on four individual sections; skill, physical, volunteering and residential as well as two group expeditions of 4 days walking and 3 nights camping.
