Fourteen members of S3 successfully completed the Bronze Expedition of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme at the weekend. It took place in the Lomond Hills area in Fife. This involved a six hour walk on Saturday, camping overnight and a six hour walk on Sunday. On both days they navigated the route on their own with a map and a compass. They carried all their equipment in a rucksack including their clothes, a tent, a stove and their food. Altogether they walked approximately 30 kilometres.
