Parent Council

The Parent Council is consulted on the school development plan, hours of opening, occasional holidays, school dress, homework, discipline policy, curricular provision and many other matters where the views of the parents/carers are important.

The Parent Council objectives are to:

  • work in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents
  • promote partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents
  • develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils
  • identify and represent the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils

The current members are;

The Parent Council is accountable to parents/carers as well as to the Children & Families Department, and is required to report to all parents at least once a year.
