Dear Parents and Carers,
The Annual General Meeting of the Parent Council will be held next Tuesday 9th June at 7pm, via video conference. As members of the school Parent’s Forum, all parents and carers are invited to come along, and will be made very welcome.
The meeting Agenda will include an update on Parent Council activities over the past 12 months, a Headteachers update, and the election of office bearers and parent council members for the forthcoming school year. Clearly these are very challenging times for schools and education generally. We now know that after the summer holidays, while there will hopefully be a return to school for our children, this is likely to be on a part time basis, and a new blended learning approach will require to be adopted. The Parent Council will have an even more important role than ever to play in providing links between parents and the school, making sure that parents views are fed in, in terms of what a blended learning approach will look like, and then feeding back on how it’s going after it is up and running.
