We are very proud of the work being done by our Parent Council – this is an active group of enthusiastic parents who are working hard to help make the school as good as it can be. The Parent Council supports school improvement through a number of ‘work streams’ such as:
- P7 Transition
- CEC West Edinburgh School Review
- Fundraising Awards/Grants
- PC and School Website
- Parental Involvement Strategy
Recently, the Parent Council helped to fund a number of exciting projects around the school, greatly benefitting students. Last week, they led a very successful focus group on Parental Engagement and Involvement – enabling a wider group of parents to share their views and ideas.
The Annual General Meeting of our Parent Council will take place on Tuesday 11th June from 7:00pm. The meeting will take place in the school meeting room and is open to all our parents. New members would be most welcome.
