Junior Basketball Team

Forrester’s Junior Basketball team (S1-3) are playing a home match against Castlebrae High School next Tuesday after school (tip-off around 4pm). If anyone would like to come and show your support, there will be a small amount of benches around the court to do so. It should be a hard fought match with two teams that are close in ability. Come on you Forries!

SQA Prelim Examinations

S4-6 students will undertake important prelim examinations starting on Monday 16th January and lasting for just short of 3 weeks. It’s really important that you respect these examinations and be extra quiet when moving around the school, particularly when near the main assembly hall. Exams will mostly be in the assembly hall but some will happen in different parts of the school. Remember, at some point in your school journey, you will be in there sitting exams, and you will want the best possible chance to do well in these. You will also notice some tables being moved away from the hall during lunchtimes – this is to help keep things quiet for the exams. Thanks.

NATIONAL ENTITLEMENT BUS PASS SUPPORT

Would you like help to sign up to receive your free bus pass?

We have representatives from the local library coming into school on 17th January from 4.30 – 5.30pm to our parent coffee evening.   We are aware that completing these applications is not always simple so we hope and this will be an effective way to ensure as many of our young people have access to free bus travel as possible.

Under 16s will need an adult with them and over 16s can apply themselves.  Applications will then be processed and passes posted out. Please bring a device that you can take a picture of yourself on (your phone or your parents’ phone will do) if you have one.  Ms McLaren
